The Impact of Migration on Vietnam Household Living Standards

This study is conducted to investigate the impact of migration on living standards households with migrants in context Vietnam. Data were collected from results Vietnam Household Living Standards time series. Blinder–Oaxaca decomposition was employed decompose source differences income between and without migrants. The show that multiyear dataset had a higher than nonmigrant households, different impacts expenditure at quantiles. By conducting quantile regression, positive expenditures 10% 50% quantile, but no 90% quantile. Based findings, some implications policies for managers, such as appropriate poor workers order improve their standards, especially rural or mountainous areas, are proposed.
